The Typeform steps read what your forms have collected: find the responses since a date or containing a word, read a form's questions, or delete a response — when someone asks for their answers to be removed, say.

Who can do this

Workspace Admins and Editors, on every plan.

Before you start

A Typeform connection in this workspace. See Connect Typeform. Delete a response needs a token with Responses — Write.

The steps

Step What it does
Find responses Finds a form's submitted responses, newest first, since a date and containing words you give.
Get a form Reads a form: its title, link and questions, with the name each answer has.
Delete a response Deletes one response from Typeform. Marked Deletes data in the picker.

Steps

  1. Select +, then in Apps select Typeform, or search Typeform.
  2. Choose the step — for example Find responses.
  3. Choose the Connection.
  4. Fill in the step:
    • Form — chosen from your forms, for example Talk to Consulace. Or, as a value, a form's id or its link — https://consulace.typeform.com/to/lT4Z3j.
    • Find responses — optional Since (a date, or a date and time; with no time zone, UTC), optional Contains (words an answer, hidden field or variable must contain — Northwind), and Most responses (100 to begin with, up to 1,000).
    • Delete a response — the Response id, usually {{ trigger.id }} from the Typeform trigger, or an id from Find responses.
  5. Select Run this step, then check Output. A test of Delete a response deletes it.

Output

Step What comes back
Find responses count, responses and first; found — false — when nothing matched, and the step goes down When nothing is found; note when more matched than were kept. Each response has the same names as the trigger's: each answer by its question, id, formId, formName, submittedAt, respondent, hidden, score and answers.
Get a form id, title, url (the form's public link), updatedAt, and questions — each with its id, key (the name its answer has), title and type. A question group's questions are listed in its place; statements, which are never answered, are left out.
Delete a response id and deleted — true.

Good to know

  • Deleting is permanent. Typeform keeps no copy, and the run's record keeps only the id. Typeform takes the request at once and deletes the response shortly after; an id it does not have is ignored, so a response deleted already is no error.
  • Find responses keeps up to 1,000. When more matched than Most responses, note on the Output says so — Only the newest 100 of 1,500 responses are kept. Narrow it with Since or Contains, or raise Most responses.
  • Only submitted responses are found, never partial ones.
  • Uploaded files are not fetched by Find responses: an upload's answer holds its Typeform link. The trigger brings the files themselves.
  • Runs once per item. Ten items run the step ten times.

If something goes wrong

What the run says Why What to do
"Typeform refused: …" naming a scope The token lacks Responses — Write for deleting, or Forms — Read or Responses — Read. Make a token with it and Replace token.
"“…” is not a Typeform form id or link." Form holds something else. Choose the form from the list, or give its id or link.
"“…” is not a Typeform response id." Response holds something other than an id — a whole link, say. Use {{ trigger.id }}, or an id from Find responses.
"Since “…” is not a date Typeform understands — 2026-10-01, or 2026-10-01 09:30." Since is not a date. Give a date, or a date and time.
