When someone in your company loses their two-factor and asks Bizomate support to reset it, we ask the company's other owners and admins to confirm the request really came from them. You answer with one button.
Who can do this
The Owner and Admins of the person's company, other than the person themselves. Everyone in those roles is asked; the first answer decides.
Steps
- Open the email Rohan Mehta asked to reset their two-factor, or the notification Rohan Mehta asked Bizomate support to reset their two-factor. Is this really Rohan? under the bell, and select Review the request. You may need to sign in first.
- Is this really Rohan? opens: Rohan Mehta asked Bizomate support to reset their two-factor. We ask someone else at Consulace Business Solutions Private Limited to check before we go further.
- If you are not sure, check with the person directly first — by phone, or in person.
- Choose:
- Yes, it's Rohan — the reset goes on to Bizomate. The page says Thanks — Bizomate support takes it from here.
- No, stop it — the reset stops. The page says Stopped: Nothing changed on Rohan's account. Support follows up on their ticket.
What happens next
- If you said yes, a platform admin at Bizomate approves the reset next. Rohan sets two-factor up again at their next sign-in.
- If you said no, nothing changes on their account, and support follows up with the person on their ticket.
- The question closes for everyone else once one person has answered.
- Your answer and your name are noted on the support ticket, and in Bizomate's admin log when the reset happens.
Good to know
- If in doubt, say no. You can always check with the person directly first. A request you cannot confirm is safer stopped.
- The question lasts 7 days. If no owner or admin answers in 7 days, the reset expires and nothing changes.
- Your answer does not reset anything by itself. A platform admin still has to approve it.
