Change a project's name, description or colour from the Projects page. The workflows in it are not affected.

Who can do this

  • Workspace role: Admin or Editor. Viewers do not see the edit button.

Steps

  1. Select your avatar at the top right, then Settings.
  2. Under Workspace, select Projects.
  3. On the project's row, select the pencil button (Edit). The row opens for editing.
  4. Change Name, Description (optional) or Colour.
  5. Select Save. (Select Cancel to leave it as it was.)

The message Project saved says "“Finance” is saved."

What happens next

The new name and colour show at once on the Workflows list, in its Project filter, and wherever you choose a project.

Good to know

You can edit one project at a time. While a row is open, + New project and the other rows' buttons are disabled.

If something goes wrong

What you see Why What to do
Give the project a name. Name is empty. Type a name.
Keep it under 200 characters. The name is too long. Shorten it.
Keep it to one line — under 500 characters. The description is too long. Shorten it.
Something went wrong — Nothing was saved. Try again. The save failed. Try again.
