Send an email — Sends an email from Bizomate. No connection needed — is the quickest way for a workflow to tell someone something: a summary, an alert, a confirmation. It sends from Bizomate's own address, in Bizomate's email layout.
Who can do this
Workspace Admins and Editors, on every plan.
Steps
- Select + where the email should be sent. In the step picker, open Apps and select Send an email (Built in · no connection needed) — or search email.
- In To, type the addresses — Separate several with commas. For example finance@consulace.com, rohan@consulace.com. Or use
{{ }}for an address from an earlier step. - In Subject, type the subject line.
- In Message, type the message. Line breaks are kept.
- Test with Test run — it really sends.
Output
| Field | What it is |
|---|---|
sent |
true |
to |
The list of addresses it went to. |
subject |
The subject as sent. |
Good to know
- Up to 10 people at a time. A workflow is not a mailing list.
- Each address gets its own email; recipients do not see each other.
- Commas, semicolons or new lines separate addresses. The same address twice is sent once.
- The message is plain text. Anything that looks like HTML is shown as typed. For HTML, attachments or a reply from your own mailbox, use Outlook or Gmail — see Send an email with Outlook.
- It runs once per item. Ten items reaching it send ten emails.
If something goes wrong
| What the run says | Why | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| To is empty when the step ran — an earlier step may not have given the value it names. | To came out empty in that run. | Check the value it reads on the earlier step's output. |
| There is no one to send it to. | To had only separators. | Add an address. |
| At most 10 people at a time — this had 14. | Too many addresses. | Send to fewer, or use a Loop. |
| “rohan@consulace” is not an email address. | An address is not a full email address. | Correct it. |
| Subject is empty when the step ran — … / Message is empty when the step ran — … | The subject or message came out empty. | Fill it in, or check the value it reads. |
