Accept or decline an ownership offer

A company's owner can hand the company to someone else. If they choose you, you get an email with an ownership offer. Accepting makes you the owner: the only person who can change the plan and the card. Declining changes nothing.

Who can do this

The person the offer was sent to, signed in with that exact email address.

Steps

1. Open the email Rohan Mehta is offering you Consulace Business Solutions Private Limited and select its link.
2. What opens depends on whether you have an account:
   • Signed in as the right address — Rohan Mehta is offering you Consulace Business Solutions Private Limited opens, with the company's workspaces and plan.
   • You have an account but are signed out — select Sign in to continue and sign in as the address the offer went to. The offer opens after you sign in.
   • No account yet — Create an account to accept opens. Type your Full name and choose a Password. Email is fixed to the address the offer went to. Select Create account and accept ownership, then set up two-factor.
   • Signed in as someone else — This offer is for someone else opens. Select Sign out and continue as the right address, or Stay signed in.
3. Read what accepting means:
   • You become the only person who can change the plan and the card for this company.
   • Rohan Mehta becomes an admin. They keep their access, but not the billing.
   • The next invoice goes to your card once you add one. If the company is on a trial, the trial carries on as it is.
4. Select Accept ownership, or Decline. The buttons read Taking it on and Declining while they work.

What happens next

• If you accept, Bizomate switches you to the company and opens its workflows. You are its Owner, and the previous owner becomes an Admin.
• If you decline, the page says You declined it. Nothing changed, and Rohan Mehta is still the owner of Consulace Business Solutions Private Limited.
• With a new account, the transfer completes as soon as the account is made and you have set up two-factor.

Good to know

• Offers last 7 days. The page shows when it expires — The offer expires on 28 September at 18:00 IST.
• Only one open offer at a time. If the owner sends a newer offer, the old link stops working.
• Not what you expected? Close the page and nothing happens. The offer stays open until it expires.
• An account made from an offer is already confirmed, because the link proved the address is yours.
• Billing becomes yours. Add a card from the company's Plan and billing settings before the next invoice.
