Change your password from Settings when you know your current one. If you have forgotten it, reset it instead — see Reset a forgotten password.

Who can do this

Everyone, for their own account.

Steps

  1. Select your photo or initials at the top right, then Settings.
  2. Select Password under Account. The page says Twelve characters or more, with a number or symbol.
  3. In Current password, type the password you use now.
  4. In New password, type the new one. The rules under the fields tick as you type: 12 characters or more, One number or symbol and Different from your current password.
  5. In Confirm new password, type the new one again. Select Show on any field to check what you typed.
  6. Read the note above the button: Changing your password signs you out everywhere except this device.
  7. Select Change password. The button reads Changing while it works.

A green banner says Password changed. Every other device was signed out.

What happens next

  • Every other session ends straight away. This browser stays signed in. Anyone signed in elsewhere as you is taken to the sign-in page at their next action.
  • We email you Your Bizomate password was changed, with the time, the device, the approximate location and the IP address, and a link to reset your password if it was not you.
  • Your two-factor methods are not changed.

Good to know

  • The rules: at least 12 characters, with at least one number or symbol. There are no other rules — no required capital letters.
  • Different from the current one. Bizomate checks the new password only against the one you have now, not older ones.
  • Select Cancel to clear the form without changing anything.

If something goes wrong

What you see Why What to do
That current password is not right. Try again, or reset it by email if you have forgotten it. The current password is wrong. Type it again, or reset it. See Reset a forgotten password.
Your new password is the one you have now. Choose a different one. The new password matches the current one. Choose a different password.
Use 12 characters or more. or Include at least one number or symbol. The new password does not meet the rules. Make it longer, or add a number or symbol.
The passwords do not match. The two new-password fields differ. Type the same password in both.
Enter your current password. or Choose a new password. A field was empty. Fill in every field.
