If you have forgotten your password, Bizomate emails you a link to set a new one. A reset also ends every other session on your account, and lifts a pause on sign-in.
Who can do this
Anyone with access to the inbox of their Bizomate account's email address.
Steps
- On the Sign in page, select Forgot password? beside Keep me signed in. Reset your password opens.
- In Email, type the address you sign in with — rohan@consulace.com.
- Wait for the Human check to finish, then select Send the reset link.
- Check your email opens: If rohan@consulace.com has an account, a reset link is on its way.
- Open the email Reset your Bizomate password and select its link. Set a new password opens, showing your address partly hidden — For r•••@c•••.com.
- In New password, type a new password. The rules under it tick as you type: 12 characters or more and One number or symbol.
- In Confirm new password, type it again.
- Select Save and sign in. The button reads Saving while it works.
- Confirm your second step — your passkey or authenticator code — when asked.
- Password changed opens: You are signed in on this device. Every other device was signed out. Select Go to workflows, or Review your active sessions.
What happens next
- Every other device is signed out at once — on its next click it lands on the sign-in page. Only this browser stays signed in.
- We email you Your Bizomate password was changed, with the time, the device, the approximate location and the IP address, and a link to reset again if it was not you.
- A pause on sign-in is lifted. If five failed attempts had paused your account, the reset ends the pause straight away.
- An unconfirmed address is confirmed. If you never opened your confirmation email, completing a reset confirms the address too.
- Your two-factor is unchanged. The reset changes only your password.
Good to know
- The link expires in 30 minutes and can only be used once.
- Not arrived? On Check your email, wait for the human check and select Send it again. A banner says A new link is on its way to rohan@consulace.com.
- The page reads the same whether or not the address has an account. That stops anyone using it to find out who has an account. No email is sent to an address with no account.
- The new password must be different from your current one. Bizomate checks only against the password you have now, not older ones.
