After you create an account, Bizomate emails a link to the address you gave. You cannot sign in until you open it. This is how we know the address is yours.

Who can do this

Anyone who has created an account and not yet confirmed its address.

Steps

  1. Open the email with the subject Confirm your email to finish setting up Bizomate.
  2. Select the link in it. The Email confirmed page opens: rohan@consulace.com is verified. Sign in, set up two-factor, then create your workspace.
  3. Select Sign in and sign in with your email and password.

If the email has not arrived

  1. On the Confirm your email page you saw after signing up, wait for the Human check to finish.
  2. Select Resend the link. A green banner says A new link is on its way to rohan@consulace.com.
  3. If you have closed that page, go to the sign-in page and sign in with your email and password. A red banner says Confirm your email address before signing in. The link is in your inbox. Select Send a new link in the banner.
  4. On Resend the confirmation link, type your address in Email, let the human check finish, and select Send the link.

What happens next

  • Once confirmed, the address shows as Verified on the date you confirmed it, under Settings > Email.
  • If you chatted with Bizomate support from the website before signing up, with the same address, those chats join your account now.

Good to know

  • The link works for 24 hours. After that, ask for a new one.
  • Older links keep working. Asking for a new link does not cancel the earlier ones; any link that is less than 24 hours old works.
  • Nothing is sent to an address that has no account or is already confirmed, but the page looks the same either way. This stops anyone using the page to find out which addresses have accounts.
  • Resetting your password also confirms your address. If you cannot find the confirmation email but can receive the reset email, completing a password reset confirms the address at the same time. See Reset a forgotten password.
  • Signed up with the wrong address? Select use a different address on the Confirm your email page and create the account again with the right one.

If something goes wrong
