Google Sheets · Add a row — Adds a row to the end of a Google Sheet — writes one row per item, under the sheet's headings. Use it to log orders, form answers or anything a person will read later in a spreadsheet.
Who can do this
Workspace Admins and Editors, on every plan.
Before you start
- A Google Workspace connection allowed to see Files you pick.
- A sheet with headings in its first row. The columns are read from them.
Steps
Select +, then in Apps select Google Sheets, then Add a row.
Choose the Connection.
Under Spreadsheet, select Choose. Google's picker opens; pick the spreadsheet. Chosen with Google's picker — Bizomate sees only the files you pick. Select Change to pick another.
In Sheet, choose the tab — Its tabs.
Under Columns, each heading of the sheet is listed with a box — a value, or {{ from a step. Fill in the ones to write. From the sheet's first row. A column left empty stays empty.
Under the columns, Preview · last 2 rows shows what is already there. Refresh columns reads the headings again after you change them in Google Sheets.
Select Run this step to add a test row.
Output
The row as written — each column by its heading — with rowNumber, where it landed, and updatedRange, such as Website!A12:D12.
Good to know
- Values are entered as if typed in Google Sheets — 64200 becomes a number, 2026-10-05 a date, and a value starting with = a formula.
- Choosing another spreadsheet empties Sheet and Columns; another sheet empties Columns.
- A column removed from the sheet shows No longer a column in the sheet. with Remove.
- Test runs add real rows.
- Runs once per item.
