A run is one pass of a workflow: it starts when the trigger fires and ends when the last step finishes. However many steps the workflow has, that is one run. Your plan counts runs — never steps.

Examples

  • An order arrives from your website. The workflow looks up the customer, checks the amount, tells the finance team in Teams and adds a row to a sheet. That is one run, not five.
  • A workflow runs every morning on a schedule. Over a 30-day month, that is 30 runs.
  • Twelve workflows, each running 400 times a month, with six steps on average: 4,800 runs. Counted per step it would be 28,800 — on Bizomate it is 4,800, and adding a step changes nothing.

Conditions, lookups, loops and AI steps count the same as any other step: they are all inside the run.

Working out your runs

Runs a month = workflows × the runs each one makes in a month. The run calculator on the Pricing page does the sum and tells you which plan covers it. Free includes 100 runs a month, Starter 2,500, Pro 25,000, and Enterprise is unlimited (Plans and what each one includes).

When you reach your limit

Nothing stops at your limit, and there is no penalty rate:

  1. At 80% of your runs, we tell the owner.
  2. At 100%, we tell them again.
  3. Runs carry on up to 110%.
  4. Past 110%, we offer more runs at your plan's own price for the rest of the month.
  5. Only then are runs skipped — and each skipped run says why. See "Why a run was skipped, not queued".

Your runs reset at the start of each month.

Where to see your runs

Usage shows the runs used this month, the limit and how the month is going. Each run is kept in the run history for as long as your plan keeps it.
