Two people can have the same workflow open. When someone saves its draft after you opened it — or you save it from another tab — Bizomate notices the next time your designer saves. Autosave pauses, so your changes aren't lost, and a banner across the canvas says who saved and when: Asha Raghunathan saved this draft at 10:42, after you opened it. You choose how to go on.

Who can do this

Workspace Admins and Editors, who can change the draft. Viewers see Unpublished saves but cannot restore them.

Steps

  1. Read the banner. The draft label at the top says it too: Autosave paused — Asha saved at 10:42.
  2. Optional: select See what changed. It lists each step — Changed by Asha at 10:42, Yours, not saved, or Unchanged. Select Close.
  3. Choose one:
    • Save mine as a copy — your draft becomes a new workflow, Daily sales summary (your version), in the same project, unpublished and switched off. It opens in a new tab, and this tab shows Asha's version.
    • Load Asha's version — asks first: Load Asha's version and discard yours? Select Discard mine and load Asha's.
    • Keep mine — asks first: Replace Asha's changes? Select Replace Asha's changes. Her version stays under Versions › Unpublished saves, so it can be restored.
  4. Autosave carries on.

Good to know

  • Publishing waits too. With autosave paused, Publish publishes nothing until you choose; the banner says Choose how to publish.
  • The same check covers autosave, Publish, Restore, Describe it's Build it and Change by asking. Renaming and the on/off switch apply at once and are not checked.
  • One check for the whole draft: steps, undo, pinned outputs, sticky notes and variables.
  • Your own second tab counts as someone else. Close the tab you are not using.
  • Versions › Unpublished saves keeps the last 10 draft saves, each with who and when. Restore asks Restore the save from 10:42? Your current draft joins Unpublished saves. A page's own autosaves within 10 minutes of each other count as one save. See See and restore unpublished saves.
  • Leaving with changes not saved asks first: Leave without saving your changes? Your changes since 10:40 will be lost.
  • A workflow deleted while you had it open: the banner says This workflow was deleted while you had it open. Select Save mine as a copy to keep your changes.
  • Bizomate does not lock a workflow or show who else has it open. The check only stops one save quietly replacing another, so agreeing who edits next still saves time.
  • Nothing is switched on or off by any of the choices, and nothing goes live until you publish.
