If Bizomate fails while it is opening a page, you see a page headed Something broke on our end instead, with 500 at the top. It is our fault, not yours, and your workflows are not affected.
Who can do this
Everyone. The page can appear anywhere in Bizomate, signed in or not.
Steps
Read the page: We've logged it and we're looking into it. Nothing you did caused it, and your workflows kept running.
Select Try again. The page you were opening loads again; often it works the second time.
If it fails again, select Back to workflows and carry on with something else, or come back to it later.
To tell support, find Reference near the bottom of the page — eight letters and numbers, such as 8F2C-41D9.
Select Copy beside it. The button says Copied for a moment. What it copies is longer than what the page shows: it is the full reference we search for.
If your browser does not allow copying, the button says Selected — press Ctrl+C; press Ctrl+C (⌘+C on a Mac) to copy it.
Raise a ticket and paste the reference into the message, with what you were doing — for example Opening Plan and billing from the settings list. See Raising a support ticket.
What happens next
- We already know. The error is recorded with its reference the moment it happens, so we look into it whether or not you report it. A ticket helps when it keeps happening to you, or when you need an answer.
- Anything saved before the error is kept — a workflow's draft, a list's rows, your settings.
- Runs carry on. Schedules, webhooks, forms and app triggers do not go through the page that failed.
Good to know
- The reference points at this exact error. The page says Quote that reference if you contact support — it points at this exact error. A screenshot of the page shows the short form, which is enough for us to find it.
- On a page that is already open, a failure shows as a bar along the bottom of the page instead, with Reload this page. See If a bar says Something on this page stopped working.
- A page that does not exist is a different page: We cannot find that page, with 404. See If a page says We cannot find that page.
- When an action fails on a page that keeps working, you see a message instead, saying what did not happen — Not saved, for example — usually with Try again. If it fails twice, open a ticket from Help.
If something goes wrong
| What you see | Why | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Something broke on our end again after Try again | The same thing fails each time. | Select Back to workflows, then open a ticket from Help with the reference. |
| Something broke on our end with no Reference line | The page could not read a reference for this error. | Raise a ticket with the time it happened and what you were doing. |
| Back to workflows shows the same page | Bizomate cannot open Workflows either. | Wait a few minutes and try again. If it lasts, use the chat on docs.bizomate.com. |
