Three Outlook Calendar steps change events: Create an event — Puts an event in a calendar, with a Teams meeting if you like; Update an event — Changes an event — only what you fill in; and Delete an event — Removes an event from its calendar.
Who can do this
Workspace Admins and Editors, on every plan.
Before you start
A Microsoft 365 connection allowed to Read and write calendars.
Steps
Create an event:
- Select +, then in Apps select Outlook Calendar, then Create an event.
- In Connection, choose your Microsoft 365 connection.
- Optional: in Calendar, choose one — Your calendars, and those shared with you that you can edit. Empty: your own calendar.
- In Title, type the event's title.
- In Starts, the date and time — 2026-10-05 10:00 — or a value from an earlier step.
- Under Lasts, choose from 15 minutes to 8 hours, or All day. It starts on 1 hour.
- In Time zone, the zone Starts is in — The workflow's time zone unless you choose another. It starts on yours.
- Optional: in Attendees, addresses — Each gets Outlook's invitation. Separate several with commas.
- Optional: switch on Add a Teams meeting.
- Optional: Location and Details.
Update an event:
- Select +, then Outlook Calendar, then Update an event.
- Choose the Connection.
- In Event, the event's id — An event's id — from Create an event, or List events.
- Fill in only what should change: Title, Starts (Empty keeps the time it has.), Lasts (Keep its length by default), Time zone, Attendees (Replaces who is invited. Empty keeps them.), Location, Details.
Delete an event:
- Select +, then Outlook Calendar, then Delete an event.
- Choose the Connection, and put the id in Event — When you organised it, the attendees get Outlook's cancellation.

If something goes wrong

| Asia/Mumbai is not a time zone Bizomate knows. Choose one from the list. | The time zone is unknown. | Choose one from the list. |
| Nothing to change — fill in what the event should become. | Update has nothing filled in. | Fill in at least one thing to change. |
| Outlook Calendar refused: … | Microsoft refused — the event or calendar is not there, or not editable. | Read the reason; check the id and calendar. |
| Needs permission to read and write calendars | The connection lacks the permission. | Select Reconnect. |
