Two Outlook Calendar steps read events: Get an event — Reads one event: when, where and who — and List events — The events in a calendar over the next days, one item each. Use List events for a morning agenda, or to act on each meeting in the week.
Who can do this
Workspace Admins and Editors, on every plan.
Before you start
A Microsoft 365 connection allowed to Read and write calendars.
Steps
List events:
- Select +, then in Apps select Outlook Calendar, then List events.
- Choose the Connection.
- Optional: in Calendar, choose one. Empty: your own calendar.
- Optional: in From, a date to start from — Empty starts today.
- In For the next (days), how many days — it starts at 7. 1 to 365.
- In Time zone, the zone for From and the times given back.
- In Return at most, the most events — it starts at 50. One item per event, earliest first. 250 at most.
Get an event:
- Select +, then Outlook Calendar, then Get an event.
- Choose the Connection.
- In Event, the event's id.
- In Time zone, the zone for the times given back.
Output
One item per event — for Get an event, one item — with id, subject, start, end, timeZone, isAllDay, isCancelled, location, organizer, attendees (each address and response), joinUrl, webLink and preview.
Good to know
- Repeating meetings are listed once per time they happen.
- No events gives no items, and the steps after it do not run.
- To send one summary of every event, the steps after List events run once per event — put the events in one message with a Code step, or use a Loop.
If something goes wrong
| What you see | Why | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| From "…" is not a date and time — write it like 2026-10-05 10:00. | From could not be read. | Write it as a date. |
| Outlook Calendar refused: … | Microsoft could not find the event, or the calendar. | Check the id and calendar. |
| Could not load the calendars | The calendar list would not load. | Try again, or Reconnect if offered. |
