Lists and rows are counted across the whole company, against its plan. When the rows run out, writes stop and reads keep working, so a workflow that only looks something up is never affected. This article gives every limit and says what to do when you reach one.

Who can do this

Everyone in the workspace sees the meter on the Lists page. The company's Owner can change the plan; Owners and company Admins are told when lists fill up.

Steps

  1. Select Lists in the bar at the top of the page.
  2. Read the meter above the lists: 1,163 of 25,000 rows and 4 of 10 lists, with a bar for each — Counted across every workspace in Consulace Business Solutions Private Limited.
  3. If the company is near or at the limit, make room:
    • delete rows you no longer need — see Delete rows from a list; or
    • delete a list you no longer need — see Delete a list; or
    • if you are the company's Owner, select See plans and move to a bigger plan.

What happens next

When What happens
80% of the plan's rows The Lists page shows You are close to the row limit. The company's Owner and Admins get a notification, Your lists are 80% full — Nothing has stopped yet; at 25,000 workflows stop writing to lists, and reads keep working.
100% of the plan's rows The Lists page shows Writes have stopped. Reads keep working. The Owner and Admins get Your lists are full — workflows have stopped writing, naming the workflow and list whose write was refused.
A write while full Steps that add or change rows fail with The list is full — writes have stopped. Your company is at 25,000 of 25,000 rows, so nothing was added. Steps that only read a list are unaffected. Adding and changing rows by hand is refused the same way. Find rows and Find one row carry on as normal.
Deleting rows Always works, and makes room at once. When the rows drop back under the limit, the notices are cleared.
All lists in use + New list is greyed out: Your plan allows 10 lists across the company.

  • Each notice goes once. The full notice goes again only if a write is refused after a week in which nobody was told.
  • Editors are not told, because they cannot change the plan; they see the banners on the Lists page.
  • A refused write in a run follows the step's If this step fails setting: by default the run stops and shows as failed.
  • An import that would go over the limit is refused whole before anything is written: This import is bigger than your plan allows.
  • Moving to Pro removes the row and list limits.
