A workspace is where workflows, connections, lists and projects live. Create another one when a team, office or client should have its own set, with its own members. Everything in the company — plan, billing, the monthly run allowance — is shared across its workspaces.
Who can do this
- Company role: Owner or Admin. Anyone else who opens the page sees "Only an owner or company admin can create workspaces.", and the + New workspace link is not in their workspace menu.
- Plan: Free and Starter allow 1 workspace, Pro 10, Enterprise no limit. Archived workspaces do not count.
Steps
- Select the workspace chip at the top left of any page.
- At the bottom of the menu, select + New workspace in Consulace Business Solutions Private Limited (your company's name).
- Or select All workspaces, then New workspace in … under the list.
- The New workspace page opens. In Name, type the workspace's name — for example Finance operations.
- In Description, type what the workspace is for. It is optional and shows in All workspaces under the name.
- Check the line under the form: "1 of 10 workspaces used on the Pro plan." tells you how many are left.
- Select Create workspace. The button shows Creating while it works.
Bizomate creates the workspace, makes you its admin, and moves you into it. You land on Workflows, which is empty.
To go back without creating anything, select Cancel.
What happens next
- You are the only member. Members are added per workspace, so nobody else can see it until you invite them from Workspace settings › Members.
- You are its admin, whatever your company role.
- It starts empty: no workflows, connections, lists, projects or variables. Connections are not shared between workspaces, so connect the services this workspace needs.
- Everyone in the company who can create workspaces sees the new workspace's name only if they are a member of it.
Good to know
- The name can be up to 200 characters and the description up to 500. Both can be changed later in Workspace settings › General.
- The workspace is created in your company's data region, which was chosen when the company was set up and cannot be changed.
- Runs in every workspace count towards the company's one monthly allowance.
If something goes wrong
| What you see | Why | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Give the workspace a name. | Name is empty. | Type a name and select Create workspace again. |
| Your plan allows 1 workspace. Upgrade to add more. | The company already has as many active workspaces as its plan allows. | Archive a workspace you no longer use, or ask the owner to move to a bigger plan. |
| Only an owner or company admin can create workspaces. | Your company role is Member. | Ask the company's owner or an admin to create it and invite you. |
