The Templates gallery lists ready-made workflows, built by Bizomate or by other people who use it. Every one is reviewed before it is listed, and each installs as a draft in your workspace. This article shows how to find one and install it.
Who can do this
Workspace Admins and Editors can install templates. Viewers can browse the gallery; for them the page says "You are a Viewer in this workspace. Editors and admins can install templates." Templates are on every plan.
Steps
Find a template
- Open the gallery in any of these ways:
- On Workflows, select the arrow beside + New workflow, then From a template — "Pick one from the gallery, by job. It arrives as a draft."
- On a workspace with no workflows yet, select Start from a template.
- In the designer, on an empty workflow, select See all templates.
- The Templates page opens — "Built by Bizomate or by other people who use it. Every one is reviewed before it is listed, and installs as a draft."
- To narrow the list:
- Type in Search templates. It searches names and descriptions as you type.
- Choose Everyone, By Bizomate or From the community.
- Choose Free and paid, Free or Paid.
- Each card shows the template's price (Free), its name, the steps it chains together, what it does, who made it — "by Bizomate" with a tick, or "by Rohan Mehta · Consulace" — and how many times it has been installed.
Install it
- On the template's card, select Use this template.
- The Use this template dialog opens — "Free — it installs as a draft in your workspace."
- In Install into, choose where it goes: Consulace — no project, or a project such as Consulace — the Finance project. The hint says "It arrives as a draft. Nothing runs until you publish it."
- If the template uses a step on paid plans, the dialog says so — for example "It uses Microsoft SQL ◇, on paid plans" — and whether your company can publish it.
- Select Install as a draft. The button reads Installing while it works.
- A toast says Installed as a draft — for example "Weekly report from SQL is in Consulace. Connect Microsoft SQL, then publish." Select Open it to open the workflow in the designer.
What happens next
- A new workflow appears in the workspace, named after the template, as a draft. It does not run until you publish it and it is switched on.
- Connect what it needs and fill in the steps marked Needs setup, then test and publish it.
- The template's install count goes up by one.
Good to know
- ◇ marks a template that uses an app on paid plans, asked for when you publish. On Free you can install it, set it up and test it.
- Paid templates cannot be bought yet. Their button reads "Buy for ₹499" and is greyed out — "Paid templates open when online payment does."
- Installing does not count towards the plan's workflow limit, which counts only workflows switched on.
- An installed template is your own workflow. Changes to the template later do not change it.
If something goes wrong
| What you see | Why | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| "Nothing matches that. Try another word, or clear the filters." | No template fits the search and filters | Select Clear the filters. |
| "No templates from the community yet. They appear here once a support agent has reviewed them." | None have been listed yet | Choose Everyone or By Bizomate. |
| Not installed — "That template is no longer listed." | It was taken down while the page was open | Refresh the page and choose another. |
| Not installed — "That template uses a step Bizomate no longer has, so it cannot be installed." | One of its steps has been withdrawn | Choose another template, or build the workflow yourself. |
| Use this template is greyed out | You are a Viewer, or the template is paid | Ask an admin for the Editor role; paid templates open with online payment. |
