None of them moves money themselves.

Who can do this

Workspace Admins and Editors, on every plan. Viewers see the step's settings but cannot change them.

Before you start

A Cashfree connection — see Connect Cashfree. Use a Sandbox one while you build.

Steps

Create a payment link:

  1. Select +. In the step picker, open Apps, select Cashfree, then Create a payment link.
  2. In Connection, choose your Cashfree connection.
  3. In Amount, the amount — In rupees. For example 1499.00.
  4. In Currency, leave ₹ Indian rupee, or choose $ US dollar, € Euro or £ Pound sterling.
  5. In Purpose, What the customer sees they are paying for. — Invoice NW-20417.
  6. In Customer phone, the customer's mobile — 9845012345. Cashfree needs it.
  7. Optional: Customer email and Customer name.
  8. Optional: switch on Text the link or Email the link to have Cashfree send it. Both are off by default.
  9. Optional: in Expires, a date and time in UTC — 2026-10-31 18:00. A date Bizomate cannot read stops the step, rather than making a link that never expires.
  10. Optional: in Link id, your own id for it. Empty: Bizomate makes one.
  11. Select Run this step.

Create an order:

  1. In the step picker, under Cashfree, select Create an order.
  2. Choose the Connection, then fill in Amount, Currency and Customer phone.
  3. Optional: Customer email, Customer name.
  4. Optional: Customer id — Optional — your own. Empty: made from the phone.
  5. Optional: Order id — Optional — your own. Empty: Cashfree makes one.
  6. Optional: After paying, where the customer goes once they have paid — https://www.consulace.com/thanks.
  7. Optional: Note.
  8. Select Run this step. Pass paymentSessionId to your website, where Cashfree's checkout takes the payment.

Get an order:

  1. In the step picker, under Cashfree, select Get an order.
  2. Choose the Connection, and in Order give the order id — for example {{ trigger.orderId }}.
  3. Select Run this step.

Good to know

  • Cashfree takes amounts in rupees, so amount is in rupees too — there is no amountMain.
  • Your own ids must be new. Cashfree refuses a Link id or Order id it has seen. Leave them empty unless you need your own.
  • Runs once per item.
  • When the customer pays, Cashfree sends Payment success — see Start a workflow from Cashfree payment events.

If something goes wrong

What you see Why What to do
Customer phone is empty — Cashfree needs a phone number for the customer. Customer phone is empty. Fill it in, or check the value it reads.
Purpose is empty when the step ran — … A payment link needs a purpose. Fill in Purpose.
Amount “…” is not an amount — write it in rupees, like 1499.00. Amount has no number in it. Type a number.
Expires “…” is not a date. Write it as 2026-10-31 18:00. Expires holds something Bizomate cannot read as a date. Rather than make a link that never expires, the step stops. Write the date and time in UTC, or check the value it reads.
Cashfree refused: … Cashfree would not make it, in its own words — an id used before, a phone number it cannot read. Fix what it names.
