Sometimes Bizomate invites people to test the product on a plan of its choosing, free of charge. The invitation comes by email. This article explains how to accept it, whether or not you already have a Bizomate account, and which company the plan applies to.

Who can do this

The person the invitation was sent to, signed in with that same email address. The plan applies to a company you own — one you own already, or the one you make next. Being a Member or Admin of someone else's company does not count.

Steps

Open the invitation

  1. Open the email "You're invited to test Bizomate on Pro" (or whichever plan you were invited on). It says who at Bizomate invited you and that "It is free while you test — 15 days at a time, renewing by itself. Nothing is ever charged."
  2. Select Start testing. If the button does not work, copy the link under it into your browser.

The page that opens depends on whether you have an account and whether you are signed in.

If you have no Bizomate account

The page is headed You're invited to test Bizomate on Pro.

  1. In Full name, type your name — for example Rohan Mehta.
  2. In Password, choose a password of 12 characters or more with at least one number or symbol. The two rules under the field tick as you meet them. Select Show to see what you typed.
  3. Select Start testing. The button shows Creating your account. Your email address counts as confirmed, because the link came to it.
  4. Set up two-factor, as every new account does. See Set up two-factor the first time you sign in.
  5. The Create a workspace page opens, reading "Bizomate invited you to test on Pro. Name your company and its first workspace — the company starts on Pro · Tester." In Company name, type your company's name as it appears on invoices — for example Consulace Business Solutions Private Limited.
  6. In Country, choose where the company is based. It cannot be changed later.
  7. In Workspace name, type a name for the first workspace — for example Consulace.
  8. Above the button, the plan note reads It starts on Pro · Tester — "Bizomate invited you to test on Pro. It is free while you test — 15 days at a time, renewing by itself — and your one Pro trial is kept for another day."
  9. Select Create workspace. You land on Workflows in your new company, which is on the tester plan.

If you have an account but are signed out

  1. The page reads "You already have an account, so sign in as rohan@consulace.com to accept." Select Sign in to accept.
  2. Sign in with the address the invitation went to. The invitation page opens again, and shows one of the two cases below.

If you are signed in and own no company

This is you if you have an account but have never started a company, or only belong to other people's.

  1. The page reads "Make your company next — it is on Pro while you test, 15 days at a time, renewing by itself. Nothing is ever charged."
  2. Select Start testing. The button shows Starting.
  3. If you belong to no company at all, the Create a workspace page opens, reading "Bizomate invited you to test on Pro. Name your company and its first workspace — the company starts on Pro · Tester." Fill it in as in steps 5 to 9 under "If you have no Bizomate account".
  4. If you are already in someone else's company, the page for starting your own company opens straight away. The plan note on it reads It starts on Pro · Tester. Fill in Company name, Country and Workspace name, then select Create company and workspace. See Start your own company.

The plan waits for the next company you make. Nothing changes in the companies you belong to.

If you are signed in and own one or more companies

  1. The page is headed Which company should move to Pro · Tester?
    • Owning one company, it reads "You own one company. The plan applies to everything in it." Your company is shown, already chosen.
    • Owning several, it reads, for example, "You own two companies. The plan applies to everything in the one you choose."
  2. Each company shows its plan now and its number of workspaces — for example "Free now · 2 workspaces" or "Pro trial now · 1 workspace". Choose the company that should move to the plan.
  3. Select Start testing. The button shows Starting.
  4. If the company you chose is the one you are working in, Plan and billing opens and shows the tester plan. Otherwise you land on Workflows; switch to the company you chose to see it there.

If you are signed in as someone else

  1. The page is headed This invitation is for someone else — "It was sent to rohan@consulace.com, but you are signed in as asha@consulace.com. Sign out, and this page opens again for the right account."
  2. Select Sign out. The button shows Signing out.
  3. The invitation page opens again, signed out. Continue as above for the address it was sent to.

What happens next

  • The company moves to the plan straight away, from the moment you accept (or from the moment you make the company). The plan applies to everything in that company — every workspace and everyone in it — as every plan does.
  • It runs for 15 days and renews by itself, every 15 days, until Bizomate ends it. Nothing is charged, and no renewal emails are sent. See Testing Bizomate on a tester plan.
  • If the tester plan is smaller than the plan the company had, workflows in any workspace running more than the new plan allows are switched off. Workspaces within the limit carry on. Nothing is deleted.
  • Your one Pro trial is kept. Testing never counts as it.

Good to know

  • The invitation link works for 7 days. Bizomate can send a new one, which replaces the old link.
  • The invitation is for one person and one company. Other companies you own or belong to keep their own plans.
  • Accepting does not add anyone to your company or change anyone's role.
