Closing a company ends it for everyone in it. Its workflows stop at once, and 30 days later everything in it — workflows, runs, lists, connections — is deleted for good. Your own Bizomate account stays, with any other companies you are in.
For 30 days support can still reopen it. After that it cannot be undone.
Who can do this
- Company role: Owner. Nobody else sees the Close company section.
- An admin or member who wants to leave rather than close the company leaves their workspaces instead — see Leave a workspace.
Before you start
Once the company closes, nobody can open it to take a copy. Do these first:
- Export the company. Export the company first, in the Close company section, downloads one zip file of the company's workflows and lists. What it contains is in the next section.
- Download the run history you want to keep. Runs are not in the export. Use Export CSV on run history, or Download the run log on a single run. See Export run history or download a run log.
- Download your own data, if you want it: your profile and the rest of your personal data are in Settings › Your data. See Download your data.
- Tell the people in it. Bizomate emails them when you close it, but they lose the company at that moment, so let them know beforehand.
If you want the company to carry on with someone else, offer it to them instead — see Transfer company ownership.
What the export contains
Export the company first downloads one file, named after the company and the day — for example consulace-2026-10-03.zip. It has one folder per workspace, and in each:
- The workspace's workflows, in one
.jsonfile — the same file as Export on the Workflows page. It imports into any workspace, and passwords, keys and other secrets are left out. See Export workflows to a file. - A
listsfolder with each list as a CSV file with every row — the same as a list's Export CSV. Each one imports back into a list. See Export a list as a CSV file.
Not in the export:
- Run history. Download it first, as above.
- Connections. Connect them again wherever you import the workflows.
- People and their roles, and support tickets.
- Personal data. Each person downloads their own from Settings › Your data.
Steps
Select your avatar at the top right, then Settings.
Under Company, select Plan and billing, and scroll to Close company at the bottom of the page.
Read what it says: Closes Consulace for everyone in it. Workflows stop at once; after 30 days everything in the company — workflows, runs, lists, connections — is deleted for good. Your own account stays, with your other companies.
To take a copy first, select Export the company first. The zip downloads; the button stays busy until it arrives.
Select Close company…. The page Close Consulace? opens and lists exactly what will happen:
- Workflows — for example 10 switched off now; schedules, webhook addresses and queued runs removed
- People — for example 4 — emailed that the company is closing, or Only you if nobody else is in it
- Plan — for example Pro — cancelled now
- Everything else — for example Deleted on 2 November 2026 (30 days)
It says Changed your mind within 30 days? Talk to support from Help and they can reopen it. After that it can't be undone.
Under Type the company's name to confirm, type the company's name exactly as it is shown — Consulace.
Confirm it is you with your passkey. If you use an authenticator app instead, select Use your authenticator code instead and type the code.
Select Close Consulace. The button shows a spinner while it works. To stop, select Cancel; nothing changes.
You land in your next company, with the message Consulace is closing — It will be deleted on 2 November 2026. We've emailed everyone in it. If you are in no other company, you land on Start your own company.
What happens next
At once:
- Every workflow stops. Each one is switched off, and its schedules, webhook addresses, app triggers and queued runs are removed. Nothing runs from here on.
- Forms stop taking answers and their addresses are removed.
- Nobody can open the company. Pending invitations and ownership offers are cancelled. Anyone in it who opens it sees a page saying Consulace is closing. It will be deleted on 2 November 2026. Its workflows have stopped, and it can't be opened. Only support can reopen it. From there they can select Switch company (or Start your own company if they are in no other), Contact support or Sign out.
- Everyone in it gets an email — Consulace is closing — you included. It says that Rohan Mehta closed it, that its workflows have stopped, and the date it will be deleted, and tells each person their own Bizomate account is not affected.
- The plan is cancelled.
After 30 days, at night:
- Everything in the company is deleted: workflows and their versions, runs and their files, lists, variables, connections and their tokens, projects, workspaces and who was in them, usage, notifications, and the company's support tickets and chats with their attachments.
- Kept: the company's name and its dates — when it was opened, closed and deleted — and nothing else. The billing address and tax number are cleared. For the full list, see What happens to your data when you delete your account.
Your account is not touched. Your sign-in, your profile and the other companies you are in stay as they are.
Undo it
Within the 30 days, open Help and talk to support. They can reopen the company:
- It is active again on the plan it had, while that plan still has time to run, otherwise on Free. Nothing is charged either way.
- Workflows stay off until someone switches them on. Switch on the ones you want again.
- Invitations do not come back. Invite people again.
Once the date has passed, the company has been deleted and cannot be reopened.
Billing
Bizomate does not take payments yet, so closing a company charges nothing and there is nothing to refund. The plan, or a trial or tester plan, is cancelled the moment the company closes.
Good to know
- Closing is not deleting your account. To leave Bizomate altogether, see Delete your account. If you own a company with nobody else in it and delete your account, that company closes in the same way.
- Workflows belong to the company, not to whoever built them, so they go with it. Export the company first.
