The Zoom meeting steps schedule meetings from your workflows — a call for every new booking or deal, say — and give back the join link to send on. They can also change, read and delete a meeting.

Who can do this

Workspace Admins and Editors, on every plan.

Before you start

A Zoom connection in this workspace. See Connect Zoom.

The steps

Step What it does
Create a meeting Schedules a meeting and gives back its join link and id.
Update a meeting Changes the fields you fill in; the others stay.
Get a meeting Reads a meeting's details. A meeting Zoom does not have goes down When nothing is found.
Delete a meeting Deletes a meeting — a repeating one with every occurrence. Marked in the picker as deleting.

Steps

  1. Select +, then in Apps select Zoom, or search Zoom.
  2. Choose the step — for example Create a meeting.
  3. Choose the Connection.
  4. Fill in the step. For Create a meeting:
    • Host — the Zoom user the meeting belongs to: their email or Zoom user id — rohan@consulace.com.
    • Topic — Onboarding call · Northwind Logistics.
    • Start — a date and time, 2026-10-09 11:30, read in the time zone below. A time from an earlier step that says its own zone (2026-10-09T10:00:00Z) is used as it is.
    • Duration (minutes) — 30 unless you change it.
    • Time zone — the workflow's time zone unless you choose another; the step shows it. Left empty, the meeting is in UTC.
    • Optional: Passcode (up to 10 characters); Waiting room — Account setting, On or Off; Registration required, approved automatically, so Add a registrant can give each person their own link.
    • Repeats — Doesn't repeat, Daily, Weekly (on the start's weekday) or Monthly (on the start's day of the month). A repeating meeting takes Repeat every (1 for every day, week or month; 2 for every other one) and Ends after (times) or Or ends on — a date, the end of that day in the meeting's time zone.
  5. For Update a meeting, Get a meeting and Delete a meeting, give the Meeting — its id or join link, usually {{ }} from Create a meeting. Update a meeting changes only what you fill in; its Time zone goes with a new Start, which it says how to read.
  6. Select Run this step, then check Output. A test creates, changes or deletes a real meeting.

Output

Step What comes back
Create a meeting, Update a meeting, Get a meeting id, topic, start, duration, timeZone, joinUrl, password, hostEmail, registrationUrl (when registration is on), status and createdAt. Get a meeting adds found.
Delete a meeting id and deleted — true.

Good to know

  • Send joinUrl to guests. The host's own start link is never in the output: anyone with it could start the meeting as the host.
  • Deleting a meeting tells registrants only if Zoom is set to; Bizomate sends nothing itself.
  • Update a meeting does not change how a meeting repeats.
  • Runs once per item.

If something goes wrong

What the run says Why What to do
"Zoom refused: User does not exist: …" Host is not a user in the Zoom account. Use a user of the account.
"Zoom refused: Meeting does not exist: …" The id is wrong, or the meeting was deleted. Check the id. Get a meeting goes down When nothing is found instead.
"“…” is not a Zoom meeting id — the number in its join link, 857 4606 5432 say." Meeting holds something else. Give the id or the join link.
"Start “…” is not a date and time Zoom understands — 2026-10-09 11:30, say." Start could not be read. Write it as a date and time.
"Time zone “…” is not one Zoom knows. Choose one from the list." The zone came from an earlier step and is not a known zone. Choose one from the list.
"A repeating meeting needs Ends after or Ends on." Repeats is set without an end. Fill in one of the two.
"Give at least one thing to change." Update a meeting has nothing filled in. Fill in what should change.
"Zoom says the account's daily allowance of requests for this API is used. It resets at 2026-10-08 00:00 UTC." The Zoom account reached its daily limit. Run again after the time it gives — If this step fails can retry it.
Zoom's reason, naming a scope The Zoom app lacks a scope. Add it in the Zoom app.
